Non c’è stata storia. Gli applausi sono stati tutti per Homeland che si è accaparrata due premi importantissimi: migliore serie televisiva (drama) e miglior attrice protagonista. I Golden Globe 2012 hanno svelato le proprie carte e la serie post 11 settembre è riuscita ad avere la meglio su grandi colossi, come Boardwalk Empire, Game of Thrones e Boss. Anche Claire Danes, nei panni dell’ufficiale operativo della CIA Carrie Mathison, ha convinto, tanto da superare l’eterea e bravissima Julianna Margulies.
