Predictibly, Republicans are contempuous of the "Occupy" protesters.
One of the most vocal has been candidate Herman Cain. Now, he can't really believe what he has been saying, can he? Here's a taste:
"Don’t blame Wall Street, don’t blame the big banks — if you don’t have a job and you are not rich, blame yourself!"
"If you are envious of somebody that happens to be rich, that you call a 'fat cat,' go and get rich instead of expecting them to walk outside of their office and write you a check."
For the last time, **no one is asking for a handout.** We just want the jobs that the last administration destroyed by catering to greedy corporations. And while I'm at it, we don't want free healthcare either. We want to pay taxes to a government that we believe will actually pay the bills when we are sick instead of the insurance companies, who denyclaims even though we pay the through the nose, again based on the bottom line.
Wow. These people running for president might be rich, but don't they know anyone who is out of work or ill? And, as I've asked many times before, don't the people who are voting for them?
