Il Wall Street Journal sul peggior governo della storia recente italiana e sull’ultimo (speriamo sia l’ultimo) suo atto tecnicamente stalinista:
"Call it, instead, the final act of a politician desperate to translate his principles into action. During his two years in office, Mr. Prodi has tried, without much success, to crack down on the favorite Italian pastime of tax dodging. His government appears to see this parting gift as a last attempt to shame Italians into paying their taxes. The apparent idea was to get Italians to use the tax records to spy on each other and report discrepancies between their neighbors’ stated income and lifestyles".
