In collaborazione con My Stronger Europe, Centre Maurits Coppietiers e European Free Alliance, aderiamo alla proposta di portare all’attenzione della Commissione Europea il dibattito sull’allargamento interno dell’Unione Europea, ovvero l’inclusione automatica di uno Stato nato da secessione o dissoluzione di un precedente membro.

We are facing political dilemas in some EU countries that could lead to creation of new states within the borders of the Union.
The European Institutions would need to confront the Secession or Dissolution of a Member state and the current treaties haven’t foreseen such a situation.
That’s why it is of a special importance that we draw the guiding principles of a European answer.
